Gunman Opens Fire at Trump National Doral Golf Club

Police released dramatic body camera video of Friday's early morning shootout at Trump National Doral Golf Club as the accused gunman made his first appearance Monday in a Miami courtroom. Forty-two-year-old Jonathan Oddi was charged with five counts of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer - one for each of the four Doral and one Miami-Dade police officers who confronted him after he allegedly opened fire in the lobby of the resort.

Oddi allegedly scaled a fence with a handgun, walked into the resort "spewing" comments about President Trump and opened fire at 1:35 a.m. Police said he pulled a fire alarm and draped an American flag over the reception desk before being shot multiple times by the five police officers. One officer also was injured during the incident, but the injury was not from a gunshot.
