Gunmen surrender after 2-week standoff with Armenian police

Armed men who had seized a police station in the Armenian capital Yerevan have surrendered to the authorities.
A number of the gunmen had already turned themselves in to the officials. All of them are now in police custody. A gunman was shot and wounded by security forces and a policeman was killed as the two sides traded fire. The Founding Parliament seized the Yerevan police station on July 17. It says the move was aimed at forcing the Armenian president to resign. The Founding Parliament accuses the government of seeking to make territorial concessions to Azerbaijan.
